Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
Before you publish: replace every
[bracketed] placeholder, and confirm the "Who we share data with"
section actually matches the services you use. An inaccurate privacy policy is
worse than none.
1. Who we are
MOMO Agency ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described in this policy within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
MOMO Agency
[Street and number]
[Postal code, City]
[Country]
Chamber of Commerce (KvK): [number]
Email: privacy@momoagency.com
2. What data we collect
Booking requests
When you submit the booking form we collect: the artist requested, event date, event name, set duration, time table, fee offer, event website, your company name, first and last name, email address, phone number, postal address, company website, VAT number, company phone number, venue details, and any additional information you write.
Correspondence
If you email or call us, we keep the content of that correspondence and your contact details so we can handle your request and refer back to it.
Technical data
Our hosting provider automatically logs your IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of your visit. This is standard server logging used for security and to keep the site running.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer and process booking requests — necessary for the performance of a contract, or for taking steps at your request prior to entering into one (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To administer confirmed bookings, invoicing and settlement — performance of a contract and compliance with legal accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To secure and maintain the website — our legitimate interest in operating a functioning, secure site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To send occasional roster updates, where you have asked to receive them — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), withdrawable at any time.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell personal data.
4. Who we share data with
We share personal data only where necessary, with:
- The artist you are booking and their management, so they can assess and fulfil the booking;
- Our form processor, Formspree Inc. (United States), which receives and forwards booking form submissions;
- Our email and hosting providers, [provider names];
- Our accountant and, where applicable, tax authorities, for invoicing and statutory reporting;
- Legal or regulatory authorities, where we are legally obliged to do so.
Where a processor is located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards from us.
5. How long we keep it
- Booking requests that do not lead to a booking: [24] months after the last contact.
- Confirmed bookings and related correspondence: [7] years after the end of the financial year, in line with statutory retention requirements for accounting records.
- Server logs: [12] months.
- Mailing list data: until you unsubscribe.
6. Cookies
This website sets no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. It loads no third-party scripts other than any music player you choose to play. If you play an embedded Spotify or SoundCloud track, that provider may set its own cookies and process data under its own privacy policy.
If you later add analytics or advertising tools, this section and a cookie consent banner must be added before those tools go live.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased, where no legal retention obligation applies;
- restrict or object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@momoagency.com. We respond within one month. We may ask you to verify your identity first.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to booking data is limited to the people who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure; if a data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the supervisory authority and, where required, you directly.
9. Children
This site is aimed at professional promoters and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be signalled on this page.
